Installing A Duro-Last® Roofing System In Jacksonville, FL
As a proud partner with Duro-Last® on this recent project for our great clients and owners of this large 50,000+ square foot shopping plaza, a flute-fill single ply application was the perfect and unique solution. With the existing standing seam decking, we mechanically installed 1.5 lbs EPS and covered it with the world’s best roof. This product was certified with a Supreme 20 dollar no dollar limit warranty.
Why a flute-fill metal retrofit is the solution for your metal roof Pre-Manufactured steel building? We’ve got you covered.
Duro-Last® Roofing Systems can be installed right over your existing metal deck with no expensive or disruptive tear-off. Long gone are the days of halting productivity in your commercial space’s work environment. Replacing metal roofing panels with this method is safer, and affordable.
Each of our flexible PVC membranes offers resilient, watertight coverage – making Duro-Last a cost-effective, long-term solution to protect your building against the elements, as well as rust and corrosion.
What is a No Dollar Limit Warranty? (NDL)
Why Retrofit instead of a full metal decking replacement –
Metal Retrofit is the solution! Avoid replacing your metal roofing by covering the roof with PVC single-ply membrane.
While metal roofs can offer lower initial installation costs and protection against fire, installing a Duro-Last single-ply membrane over your metal roof means:
● No more seam and fastener problems.
● No more cracks and leaks around penetrations.
● No more rust and corrosion.

Another incredible advantage to avoiding a full metal tear off, is the reflectivity value you add to your property. By reflecting up to 88% of the sun’s energy, Duro-Last white roofing systems can greatly reduce energy costs.
R-Value of EPS Insulation –
The R-value of 1.5 lb density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation is 18.20 for 4 in thick, 22.75 for 5 in thick, and 27.30 for 6 in thick. The R-value of EPS insulation varies depending on its density, but typically ranges from R-3.9 to R-4.4 per inch. A higher R-value means the insulation is better at trapping conditioned air, such as cool air in the summer or heat in the winter. It’s not about how much heat the insulation retains, but how slowly it allows heat to pass through it.
