Modified Bitumen Tear Off to TPO over Poly ISO
Established in 1986, Volusia Gold & Diamond has been serving the greater Daytona Beach area with the largest selection of brand new top quality jewelry at the best prices. Located just one mile from the ocean on the iconic International Speedway Blvd, they are subject to extreme weather conditions due to increasing hurricane activity. Due to that extreme weather we needed to completely remove the old Mod Bit roof and replace it with a 60 mil TPO over poly ISO and then apply a Mule-Hide silicon coating on their R-Panel metal roof on the back of the building.
With multiple sections of roof including firewalls, the staging and detail was very important. As we were replacing this roof during rainy season, SPC leaned on our 40+ years of experience in order to efficiently do the job while also being able to make sure that pop up rain storms didn’t do further damage when the roof was opened up. We are proud to say we were successful and Volusia Gold & Diamond now has a higher reflective, thicker insulated TPO roof with a 20 year NDL warranty so they can rest easy knowing their roof will be headache free as they continue to serve the Daytona area for decades to come.
